About Sponsor a Puppy Program

Sponsor a Puppy

Imagine not being able to pick up your keys, turn on a light or open a door. Our dogs can help those unable to perform tasks of daily living without assistance increasing mobility and independence.

You can be part of this life-changing journey when you sponsor one of our dogs through the Sponsor a Puppy Program. Your donation helps Golden Opportunities for Independence raise and train future Service Dogs to provide independence to those with a disability to live a more fulfilling life with the love and assistance of a dog and a mentor.

Program Details
• Your donation to the Sponsor a Puppy Program cannot be restricted for a specific client. By naming a puppy, you do not have ownership rights to the puppy.
• Your $3,500 or $4,000 donation will name one puppy.
• Suggested names will be reviewed and approved by our training team.

Please understand that not all puppies have the right temperament or aptitude to become Service Dogs. Dogs that do not complete the GOFI training program may be transferred to a different recipient or adopted. If prior to their first birthday, they do not fit the criteria of a GOFI service dog, it will be at the discretion of the new owner whether the quarterly updates will continue. If they do not, you will be provided updates on a future litter.
